Let's Rebuild Nepal 2016

This journey was significantly different from previous ones. This time, I photographed the destruction after the catastrophe, the ruined architecture, including priceless monuments that perhaps no one will rebuild. I also focused on documenting the social condition marked by the stigma of a great tragedy. Together with my husband, Michał, I actively joined in providing aid. Thanks to the almost heroic work of residents from Poznań—Sylwia Jędernalik and Maciej Pastwa—and our financial support, we managed to rebuild the school in the village of BAKRANG-6, which had been completely destroyed by the earthquake.
