Ecuador

The beginning of this journey was particularly exciting for me. Although I initially sought traces of the ancient Inca civilisation in the Andes, the wild nature of Ecuador, where the mountains meet the Amazon jungle, creating breathtaking landscapes, proved equally fascinating.

The Amazon is the heart of this expedition. It was here that I managed to live with two indigenous tribes: the Achuar and the Huaorani. My photographs are the result of a deep immersion into their world. I shared their daily life and observed the natural cycle of their existence. This unique, shared experience is strongly visible in every frame.
