A journey like no other.

The trip, which I chose to take with a slightly larger group of friends, was spent mainly in the desert. This is just one of many reasons why my stay in Algeria was full of exceptions to my travel preferences. Firstly, because this time I couldn't focus on people and their lives. They were very protective of their privacy, which stems directly from their religion. Secondly, most of the time, it was landscapes that appeared in my camera lens, which usually lose out to human faces. Thirdly, the trip was a bit more organised. This had its good and bad sides. However, I am aware that it was the only chance to get to know this very hermetic country at least a little.
